CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 3 (UNB): A court here on Wednesday sentenced three members of banned militant outfit Jamaatul-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to 10 years of imprisonment each in an arm case.
The convicts are Md Selim alias Harun Mistry, 37, son of Dulur Hossain of Charmahan in the municipality area, Shahdat alias Nayan, 42, son of Abdul Murad of Nimtola Kathal in Gomastapur upazila, and Abdul Momin, 34, son of late Tayab Ali of Kaysadiar in the upazila.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Shawkat Ali delivered the verdict at noon in presence of the accused on the dock.
The court also fined them Tk 10,000 each, in default, to suffer six months more rigorous imprisonment.
