Three killed as rival groups’ clash in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, Mar 22 (BSS): Three people were killed and two others injured in a gunfight between two rival groups at Kechipara near Balumura Para on the Rajsthali-Bandarban border area in the district on Tuesday.

Rangamati Superintendent of Police Mir Moddasser Hossain confirmed the incident.

The gunfight took place between a regional group and Mog Liberation Party at Kechipara near Balumura Para area, he added.

Hossain said a team of the security forces went to the spot. According to locals, the deceased were members of Mog Party.
