Three Myanmar security personnel held in Teknaf

COX'S BAZAR, July 21 (UNB): Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have detained three members of Myanmar's security forces after they illegally entered Bangladesh through the Naf River along the Teknaf border.

The three crossed the river by swimming with the aid of plastic water containers and entered Bangladesh through the Naittongpara border area under Teknaf Municipality at around 12:00 pm on Monday, said Md Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Model Police Station.

The detainees are Hein De Htet (38), Kyaw Naing (35), and Hein Zaw (33).
