'Tipaimukh Dam issue disrupts trial of war criminals'

Speakers at a roundtable have said a vested quarter is hatching conspiracy to disrupt the trial process of the war criminals by creating a chaotic situation centering over the much-talked Tipaimukh Dam, reports BSS.
"The government seems seeing the most demanding trial of the war criminals as onlooker after the Tipaimulk Dam issue was raised," they said at a roundtable organised by the 'Ekattorer Ghatok Dalal Nirmul Committee', United Kingdom unit recently, according to a message received here Saturday.
Nirmul Committee, UK unit president Dr BB Chowdhury presided over the roundtable held at the Herb and Spice Restaurant at East London.
Noted journalist Abu Musa Hasan presented the keynote paper at a roundtable where president of UK Bangabandhu Parishad President Mahmud A Rouf, general secretary of communist party Syed Enamul Islam, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Terming the initiative taken by the grand alliance government about the Tipaimukh Dam as positive and time befitting, the speakers urged the government to remain alert about the propaganda and conspiracy of the anti- liberation forces.
