Travel ban on ex-AL MP Shamsul, family

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on Awami League (AL) leader and former lawmaker from Jaipurhat-1 constituency, Shamsul Alam Dudu, his wife Meher Nigar, daughter Nazmin Tania and son Meheraj Alam over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the order on Tuesday, allowing a plea filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
