Trial of Sarwar Jamal in liquor case from Nov 8

CHITTAGONG, Nov 4 (UNB): Trial of former Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) lawmaker Sarwar Jamal Nizam in the liquor case begins on November 8.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) had arrested him along with his driver Mamunur Rashid from in front of Chittagong Club with a sizeable quantity of foreign liquor from his jeep on the night of June 21.
The case was filed with Patenga thana under the Narcotics Control Act and the investigation officer submitted charge sheet against him Thursday.
