Two BRUR teachers, seven staff suspended

RANGPUR, Oct 28 (UNB): Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) authorities have suspended two teachers and seven staff members in connection with their alleged involvement in the death of Abu Sayeed, a student of the English department of the university who became one of the first martyrs during the student-led movement.
The decision was taken at the 108th Syndicate meeting held at the administrative building of the university on Mondaywith its vice-chancellor Prof Md Shawkat Ali in the chair.
