The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested two people in a raid in capital's Kadamtali area and seized a large quantity of counterfeit currency notes along with equipment used to produce fake banknotes, reports BSS.
The arrestees are Md Shahab Uddin (43) and Hajera Akter Ritu (30).
A team from the CTTC conducted a special drive at a rented house at lane 5, Palashpur Gas Road, under Kadamtali thana on Sunday night
