Two more murder cases filed against Sheikh Hasina

Two more murder cases were lodged against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS.

A case was filed with Jatrabari Police Station for killing youth Khoaib while other case was filed with Rupgonj Police Station for killing of student Miraj at Rupnagar during the recent anti-discrimination student movement.

Jatrabari Police Station and Rupgonj Police Station registered the cases at the directive of the Metropolitan Magistrate on Sunday.

Zobair Ahmed, brother of Khoaib, filed a murder case against 88 people including Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana while Jasim Uddin, maternal cousin of Miraj, filed the murder case against Sheikh Hasina and 167 others.

Relatives of Khoaib and Miraj lodged the complaints with the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Shaheen Reza. The court took the complaints into cognizance and asked the respective police stations to register those as cases, asking them to submit police report to the court by five working days.

Key accused of the Jatrabari Police Station case are Obaidul Quader, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Moshiur Rahman Mollah Sajal, Sayed Abu Hossain Babla, Enayetullah Shajahan Khan, Mohammad Ali Arafat, Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Sheikh Fazle Shams Parosh, Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Harun-Ur-Rashid and Biplob Kumar Saker.

The accused of Rupgonj Police Station case are Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Anisul Huq, Mahbubul Alam Hanif, his wife Fouzia Alam, Nayeemul Islam Khan, Arifur Rahman, Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Ilias Uddin Molla, Shahida Tareq Dipti, Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Shahin Chaklader, Moshiur Rahman, Harun-Ur-Rashid, Rafiqul Islam alias Anda Rafiq, Gazi Mezbaul Haque Sachhu and SM Mannan Kochi.
