Two schoolboys killed, 10 others hurt in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Apr 22 (UNB): Two schoolboys were killed and another 10 people injured in a clash between two rival political groups at Chandraganj Bazar in Sadar Upazila Monday night.
The deceased were identified as Rabiul Islam Shimul (14), a class VIII student of Pratapganj High School and Farhad Hossain (16), a student of class X of the same school.
Witnesses said the clash ensued between the ruling Awami League (AL)-backed Nasir group and BNP-backed Solaiman Uddin Jisan group, for establishing their supremacy in the locality.
The clash occurred at about 10:30 pm following an altercation between the supporters of the two groups at Deopara village in Sadar Upazila.
