CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 20 (BSS): Police arrested two activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, when they were pasting posters in the Jhilim road area of the town on Saturday night.
The arrested are Farhad Hossain (20), son of Jewel Hossain of Chunaripara of Chapainawabganj town, and Abdur Rahim (21), son of Noor Hossain of the Battalahat area under Chapainawabganj municipality.
Golam Mortuza, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chapainawabganj Sadar thana confirmed the incident.
Police seized some posters from them, he added.
