RANGAMATI, Jun 12 (UNB): Two members of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) were shot dead in a gunfight with the members of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS) in Sonaichhari area in Naniarchar Upazila Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Satyabrata Chakma, 27, and Biju Chakma, 32.
Habibur Rahman, additional superintendent of Rangamati Police said, a gunfight took place between the two rival groups in the area at around 11.00 am, leaving Satyabrata and Biju dead on the spot.
