UP chairman held with foreign-made pistol

KHULNA, Sept 12 (BSS): Police arrested a union parishad (UP) chairman with a foreign made pistol and a private car in the city. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Detective Branch of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) in a drive at the zero point on Thursday night and arrested Abu Zafar Siddiqi Razu (45), Number-1 Haridhali UP chairman of Paikgachha upazila , said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of DB of KMP Taymur Islam.
