UP member murdered in Mymensingh

A Union Parishad (UP) member was murdered by miscreants at Haripur village in Fulbaria Upazila under Mymensingh district early Saturday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Saiful Islam (55), member of Rangamatia Union Parishad of the upazila. Police said a gang of armed miscreants waylaid Saiful at Hatubhanga Gojari on his way back home from local Shushuti Bazar and killed him at around 12.00 midnight. Local people found his body lying beside the road and informed the police in the morning.
