KHAGRACHHARI, Mar 9 (UNB): A member of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) was shot dead and another person injured in a gun attack by masked miscreants in Babuichhari area of Dighinala upazila this (Sunday) morning.
The deceased was identified as Sudrishti Chakma, 35.
Witnesses said a group of four masked miscreants shot Sudrishti from close range while he was standing in front of a roadside shop in the area around 8 am, killing him on the spot and injuring another person, Hridi Chakma, 27.
Injured Hridi Chakma was rushed to Khagrachhari sadar hospital.
