UPDF, JSS exchange gunfire

KHAGRACHHARI, Mar 8 (UNB): United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) and rival Jana Sanghati Samity (JSS), two rival groups of the hill tracts, exchanged heavy gunfire at Naraichhari under Dighinala Upazila in Khagrachhari district Tuesday.
Local sources said the exchange of gunfire over establishing supremacy in the area began at 7:45 am and continued until 9:15 am.
A BGB patrol team rushed to spot hearing the incident.
A BGB man was reportedly injured during the exchange of fire.
