UPDF man shot dead

Unidentified miscreants have shot dead a member of the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) in Khagrachharhi's Ramgarh upazila, bdnews24.com.

The murder took place at the upazila's Pashuram Ghat on Sunday morning, police and locals said.

The deceased was identified as Ranjan Chakma alias Biswas Member (50) of Lakshmichharhi upazila.

UPDF spokesperson Niron Chakma said Ranjan was an active member and blamed Santu Larma-led Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS) for the killing.
