Uttaran celebrates PM's birthday tomorrow

Uttaran, the official mouthpiece of Bangladesh Awami League (AL), will celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through various programmes tomorrow (Tuesday), reports BSS.

Under the theme 'Sobar Aponjon', Uttaran, a monthly publication of AL, will arrange speeches, songs, poetry recitation and documentary screening at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Tuesday afternoon.

"Bulbul Islam, Shama Rahman, Sharmin Sathi Mayna and Anima Roy will render songs at the function," Arif Sohel, coordinator of the function, said.

Muntasir Mamun, historian and scholar, will deliver a speech while valiant freedom fighter and Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak will deliver the welcome speech.
