Vardhan pays tribute to Bangabandhu

Indian Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has paid tributes to Bangladesh’s founding father, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He went to the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on Road 32 in Dhanmondi on Thursday night and stood in silence for a minute as a mark of respect. His Bangladesh counterpart Mohammad Nasim later gave him a tour of the museum. Indian Health Secretary Lov Verma, Indian High Commissioner Pankaj Saran, AYUSH Secretary Nilanjan Sanyal, Director General of Health Services Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque, among others, were present. Vardhan came to Bangladesh on Monday to attend the 67th SEARO summit. During his stay, he met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, according to bdnews24.com.
