Varsity student killed in Ctg train accident

CHITTAGONG, Mar 13 (BSS): A university student was killed when the Dhaka-bound Chottala Express train knocked him at Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila of the district Friday morning.

The victim was identified as Sazadul Islam (25), a sixth semester student of Finance and Banking Department of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC).

He was the son of Baduruazza, hailing from Abu Torab village of the Sitakunda upazila.

Police said the victim received serious head injury when the train hit him at IIUC gate of Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila of the district at 9:00 am.

Locals rushed him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital but the attending doctors declared him dead.
