Two relatives of martyrs testified Sunday against Syed Md Qaiser at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2, accusing the former state-minister for agriculture for ordering the killing of their loved ones, reports BSS.
Ambia Khatun (63), daughter of martyr Abdus Shahid and Anwara Begum (70), widow of martyr Askar Ali submitted the depositions against Qaiser as 23rd and 24th prosecution witnesses (PWs) respectively.
The ladies, both from village Madhyam Norpoti under Chunarughat thana in Habiganj almost corroborated each other's depositions as the concerned incident was one and the same.
In their depositions, both of them descried how their dear ones were apprehended by the men of Qaiser, who had allegedly raised an auxiliary force to Pakistani occupation army during the War of Liberation, and were gunned down following his order.
They said Qaiser orchestrated the abduction, torture and subsequently killing of their loved ones as both the victims had refrained from joining Razakar Bahini and went to India.
