Voter registration work starts in C'nawabganj Oct 7

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 10 (UNB): Work on preparing voter list with photographs and national Identity (ID) Card will start in the district on October 7.
The first phase work of the project will be completed in Nawabganj municipality area in cooperation with the army.
District Election Commission held a preparatory meeting at the local Circuit House Sunday in this connection with Deputy Commissioner Shahadat Hossain in the chair.
The meeting informed that data collection by going door to door would begin on October 7 and for that purpose 359 enumerators and 72 supervisors will be imparted training.
Official sources said some 46 voters' registration centres in 15 wards of the municipality would be set up for completing the work smoothly.
