Dr Wazed Mia met his detained wife and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina after 104 days of her detention at a makeshift sub-jail on the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban compound Tuesday, reports UNB.
Hasina was detained at the sub-jail on July 16.
Wazed along with Sheikh Hasina's four other close relatives - Hasina's aunt Razia Sultana, Sheikh Selim's wife Fatema Selim, Sheikh Rehana's sister-in-law Shamima Siddique and Hasina's grandson Shamsul Rahman Tutul-entered the sub-jail at about 9:55am to see Hasina.
They spent nearly 90 minutes in the jail, the AL President’s Special Assistant Hasan Mahmud told the agency.
During the meeting, both Hasina and Wazed got emotional and inquired about each other's health condition.
