Wazed Miah admitted to hospital hrs after Hasina's arrest

Sheikh Hasina's husband and eminent nuclear scientist Wazed Miah was admitted to LabAid Specialised Hospital with chest pain Monday noon, hours after his politician-wife's arrest, reports UNB.
Family sources said Wazed Miah has been suffering from heart ailments for long and took to hospital at about 12:30 pm following 'acute chest pain'.
Hasina, a former Prime Minister and president of Awami League (AL), was arrested from their residence Sudha Sadan in the city Monday morning in a corruption case and sent to a specially designated prison in the parliament building complex.
