RAJSHAHI, Sept 27: Members of Rajshahi Bar Association formed a human chain on Rajshahi court premises demanding withdrawal of increased court fees.
Hundreds of lawyers took part in the human chain.
The human chain was addressed, among others, by President and Secretary of the Association Abul Kashem and Jamsed Ali respectively, Hamidul Haque, Mozammel Haque, Tofazzal Hossain, Babla, Nur A Kamruzzaman Iran, Serajul Karim Masun and Abu Raihan.
Addressing the human chain, the speakers expressed their solidarity with the demands of Supreme Court Bar Association and vowed to launch tough movement to force the government to withdraw the increased court fees.
