Witness\\\' deposition deferred

Deposition of a witness in blogger Ahmed Rajib Haider murder case has been postponed as the judge is on leave, reports bdnews24.com.
Rajib's father Najim Uddin was present at Dhaka's Speedy Trial Tribunal-3 on Sunday to testify.
But acting Judge Shahed Nur Uddin deferred the deposition and fixed May 21 as the new date.
Gonojagoron Mancha activist Haider was hacked to death in front of his residence in the city's Pallabi on February 15, 2013.
Police said they suspect religious extremists for the killing.
The court, on March 18, indicted eight men, including seven students of private North South University and extremist group Ansarullah Bangla team chief Jashim Uddin Rahmani.
The accused NSU students are Faisal Bin Nayeem alias Deep (22), Maksudul Hassan Anik (23), Ehsan Reza Rumman (23), Nayeem Sikder Irad (19), Nafis Imtiaz (22), Sadman Yasir Mahmud (20), and Rezwanul Azad Rana (30).Prime suspect Rana, a leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir, is currently absconding.
Three other bloggers have been killed since Haider's murder in a similar fashion. The latest victim, Ananta Bijoy Das of Sylhet, was killed on May 12.
