Working condition in media houses to be monitored: Inu

Leaders of the Dhaka Union Journalists (DUJ) Sunday urged the government to take immediate steps to ensure their trade union rights in the newspapers houses, implement the award of the eighth wage board and stop termination spree.

Newly elected leaders of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) placed the demands to Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu when they called on him at his office.

President of the Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) Altaf Mahmud and General Secretary Quddus Afrad led the delegation.  Newly elected office bearers and executive members of DUJ and chiefs of different units accompanied them.
