SATKHIRA, Sept 27 (UNB): A Bangladeshi man was beaten to death allegedly by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Kushkhali border in Sadar Upazila Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Jagdish Goswami, 40, son of Bishnupad Goswami of Gopinathpur village of the upazila.
Major Ahsan Habib, operation officer of Satkhira-38 BGB said BSF troops of Dudoli camp picked up Jagdish early Saturday morning while he was trying to cross the border illegally.
