Youth held with gold

Members of Airport Armed Police (AAP) detained a passenger coming from Malaysia and recovered two gold bars weighing around 304 grams at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday, reports UNB.
Sources at the airport said Md Ismail Hossain Likhon (26), landed at the airport by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur at about 6:10am.
When he went to Canopy-2 after crossing the green channel, AAP members challenged him for his suspicious movement, said Senior ASP of the AAP Alamgir Hossain Shimul.
After searching his body, two gold bars worth Tk Tk 1.2 million (12 lakh) were recovered from him, he said.
