NETRAKONA, July 3 (BSS): Unidentified gunmen shot dead a young man in Ananda Bazer area of Netrakona district town on Thursday night.
Police and witnesses said the dead was identified as Anjan Kumar Das Buttu (33), son of Ganga Coran Das of Cooperative Bank Road in the town.
Anjan received bullet injuries while reportedly sitting inside his friend's chamber in Ananda Bazer area. Immediately after the incident, the critically injured Anjan was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).
Later, he was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where attending doctors declared him dead.
