Zia was Pak spy: Hasan

Awami League (AL) Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud said Ziaur Rahman, founder of BNP, was a spy during the war of liberation, reports BSS.

"It has been proved and documented that Zia acted as a spy on behalf of the Pakistani occupation forces during the liberation war and I can show it (the document) from my i-pad", claimed Dr Hasan Mahmud.

The ruling party central leader claimed this while addressing as the chief guest a discussion arranged by Bangladesh Swadinata Parishad at the Dhaka Reporters' Unitry (DRU) Tuesday.
