‘Take steps to stop secret killings’

Leaders of different left-leaning political parties demanded on Friday that the government take immediate steps to stop forced disappearances and secret killings in the country, reports UNB.

They made the call from their separate protest rallies held in front of the Jatiya Press Club.

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Socialist Party of Bangladesh

(SPB) held a joint rally, while Democratic Left Alliance (DLA), a platform of eight left parties, held another rally in protest against the forced disappearances taking place in Narayanganj and elsewhere in the country.
