‘Zia directed to kill 4 nat’l leaders’

Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmood Sunday said the BNP's founder Ziaur Rahman directed to kill four national leaders inside the central jail, reports BSS.

"The four national leaders were killed inside the central jail at 2am in the early hours of November 3 in 1975. Khandker Mostaque was the head of the government and Ziaur Rahman was the army chief," he said while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion at Segunbaghicha in the city.

Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote organised the discussion on 'Present Aspect and Ongoing Politics' with its vice president Dr Enamul Haque in the chair.
