Body of septuagenarian recovered in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 17 (BSS): Anowara police of the district recovered the body of a septuagenarian from the Ichamati River on Wednesday, nine days after his disappearance.

Being informed by a cowboy, a team of Anowara thana police rushed to the spot and rescued the floating body of Abu Sayed, 70, an inhabitant of Pirkhayin village under Haildhar union of the upazila.

Police said the almost decomposed body of the deceased had been floating on the river at a place near Upazila food go-down under Sadar union.
