MIST student's body recovered from Padma River

MUNSHIGANJ, Feb 02 (BSS): The body of a Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) student, who went missing while bathing in the Padma River at Mawa, was recovered on Monday, two days after the incident.
The deceased was identified as Naim, 22, a student of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department of MIST. He was the son of A. Raihan, a resident of Lalpur upazila in Natore district. According to Srinagar Fire Station Officer Dewan Amjad Hossain, Naim's body was recovered from the riverbed around 500 feet north of Pillar No. 4 of the Padma Bridge on Monday afternoon.
