Tetulia endures mild cold wave for a week

Tetulia Upazila in Panchagarh District has been experiencing a mild cold wave for the past week, with the northern frontier consistently recording the lowest temperatures in the country, reports from BSS.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7°C at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, with air humidity at 71 per cent.
Previously, on Tuesday, the minimum temperature was 9.5°C at 9:00 am, with humidity at 74 per cent and wind speeds ranging between 9 and 10 km/h. The maximum temperature for that day was recorded at 27.4°C.
On December 15, the minimum temperature was 9.0°C at 9:00 am, with humidity at 89 per cent and wind speeds of 9 to 10 km/h. The maximum temperature reached 27.2°C.
The cold intensity was also felt on the days leading up to this, with temperatures recorded as follows: Dec 14: 9.0°C, Dec 13: 9.3°C, Dec 12: 9.3°C, Dec 11 and the season's lowest is at 8.9°C. The Met Office confirmed that the mild cold wave has been affecting Tetulia continuously since December 11.
