Political instability affecting stock investors

The current political instability has resulted in a very worrisome environment for investors trading in stocks in the Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges. As political tensions continue to rise, stock values continue to plummet drastically. This has resulted in huge losses for numerous investors who use this system for the future savings.

This decline in stock values had little to do with investment and everything to do with fear and investor sentiment brought about by current political instabilities. As a nation with uncertain politics, any investor confidence would be lost due to lack of predictability.

This would lead to deterioration in investment levels because nobody would be interested in investing. A stable political environment and proper investor information would help revive confidence levels among investors. This would lead to a healthy investment environment because the nation would have a stable capital market.
