CJ opens renovated ICT-2 courtroom

Chief Justice (CJ) Syed Refaat Ahmed inaugurated the newly-renovated courtroom of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 on the apex court premises on Wednesday, reports BSS.

On the occasion, ICT-1 Chairman Justice Golam Mortuza Mozumder, ICT-2 Chairman Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, other members of both tribunals, Supreme Court Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee, Chief Prosecutor Muhammad Tajul Islam, and other prosecutors, among others, were present.

The ICT-2 was constituted on May 8, 2025, with Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury

of the High Court Division as its chairman, while retired District and Sessions Judge Md Manjurul Basid and District and Sessions Judge Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir were appointed as members.
