Md Ahsan-uz-Zaman, managing director and CEO of the bank, explains briefly Midland Bank started agent banking operations with the slogan of "Apnar Shathey Apnar Pashe" since 2017 with the aim of providing banking services to the rural people who are underprivileged. Nowadays people in remote area of villages have been able to receive modern banking services through Midland Bank agent banking.
In line with this, Midland Bank today provides a wide range of banking services through 109 agent banking centres in 29 Districts and 65 Upazilas across the country to ensure the safety of customer deposits and provide modern banking services. Through Midland agent banking centre, we are providing services like account opening, fund transfer, deposit and withdrawal, loan disbursement and loan installment, utility bill receipt, foreign remittance disbursement, debit and credit card issuance. Besides this, we are able to transfer money from Midland Bank to Mobile Financial Services (bKash, Rocket, Nagad, Upay) and also able to transfer money from bKash and Rocket to Midland Bank Account. Customers can avail Islamic banking services besides conventional banking from any agent banking centre. Customers can get round the clock banking service by using "midland online" the internet banking service of the Bank.
