BPL Dhaka phase starts today

The Dhaka phase of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will begin today (Thursday) with one playoffs spot up to the grab still, reports BSS.

So far three teams: Rajshahi Warriors, Chattogram Royals and Sylhet Titans- have made it to the playoffs.

Rangpur Riders who sit at the fourth spot is favourite to be the fourth and last team to join the top three but Dhaka Capitals and Noakhali Express also has the chance to gatecrash their party.

Rangpur have eight points in their kitty so far while Dhaka and Noakhali are the bottom two places with four points each. Noakhali, however, will take on Chattogram Royals to kick off the Dhaka phase. In the day's other match, Rajshahi Warriors will face off Sylhet Titans. A victory will keep the Noakhali’s slim play-off hopes alive while a defeat end all hopes.
