EASTERN BANK HOSTS FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMME

Eastern Bank hosted a financial literacy programme as the lead bank at the Royal Palace Convention Hall in Narsingdi on Tuesday. The event was organised as part of Bangladesh Bank's (BB) financial literacy programme. Fifteen cheques were distributed to beneficiaries from various banks. The programme aims to support financial education and responsible banking. Md. Iqbal Mohasin, director of BB's Financial Inclusion Department, was present as the chief guest. Sharfuddin Mozaffar Ali, the head of Eastern Bank's financial literacy wing, was also present among other top officials of the bank.
