MTB FOUNDATION OPENS 3 WATER ACCESS HUBS IN LAKSHMIPUR

MTB Foundation recently inaugurated three water access hubs under the project 'Jol Torongo' for the vulnerable community of Char Alexander in Lakshmipur. The water access hub is expected to modernise the access to clean and safe water, contributing to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 6 and 15. The project is aimed at catering to a large underprivileged segment of Char Alexander by resolving the region's long-standing safe water and sanitation crisis. The programme was inaugurated by Samia Chowdhury, chief executive officer of MTB Foundation.
