People's Insurance Company Board meeting held

The 440th meeting of the Board of Directors of People's Insurance Company Limited was held at PHP Family's Farm House at Bhatiari in Chattogram on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by company Chairman Zafar Ahmed Patwari. Chairman of PHP Family and also former chairman of the People's Insurance Company Alhaj Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the meeting. During the meeting, the board reviewed the business activities of 2024 and discussed the company's overall performance. Also, the chairmen of the sub-committees presented their statements on the annual work plan, targets, budget, and other key strategies for 2025. Among others, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Mohammad Anwarul Haque, Directors Ameer Humayun Mahmud Chowdhury, Mohammad Ali Hossain, Kabir Ahmed, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Patwari, Md Azizul Haque, and Jotsna Ara Begum, and Independent Directors Shovit Bikas Bara, Dilshad Ahmed and MMG Sarwar spoke at the meeting. Former director Mohammad Shamsul Alam and former chairman Md Abul Bashar Mukul, adviser of the company MH Khaled, Chief Executive Officer SM Azizul Hossain, CFO Abdullah-Al-Mobin, Company Secretary Sarfraz Hossain were also present at the meeting.
