SHADHARAN BIMA PROVIDES TK 500M IN DIVIDEND FOR FY 2025-26

Shadharan Bima Corporation (SBC) handed over a dividend cheque for Tk 500 million for the fiscal year 2025-26 to Finance Advisor Dr Salehuddin Ahmed on Tuesday. The dividend was presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SBC, Mohammad Jainul Bari (a retired secretary). Nazma Mobarek, Secretary, Financial Institutions Division; Md Harun-Or-Rashid, Managing Director (Additional Secretary), Shadharan Bima Corporation; Md Azimuddin Biswas (Additional Secretary); and Md Sayeed Kutub (Additional Secretary), Financial Institutions Division; Sheikh Farid (Joint Secretary), Financial Institutions Division; Bibekananda Saha, General Manager (Finance), and A. K. Maksudul Ahsan Bhuiyan, Deputy General Manager (Central Accounts), Shadharan Bima Corporation; were present during the handover of the cheque. In addition to the dividend, Shadharan Bima Corporation contributed Tk 2,306,100,000 to the national exchequer as income tax and VAT during the 2025 income year.
