BIID Foundation and Robi Axiata PLC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance digital inclusion and social development across Bangladesh. The agreement, signed by BIID CEO Shahid Uddin Akbar and Robi's Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer Shahed Alam, sets the stage for a strategic collaboration aimed at bridging the digital divide.
The partnership will focus on delivering digital solutions in nutrition, healthy living, ICT literacy, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Key initiatives include innovation labs and community programmes such as Nirvoya and Clean & Green Campus.
"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to inclusive and sustainable development," said Akbar. Alam added, "Together, we look forward to fostering a smart and inclusive Bangladesh."
By combining BIID's grassroots experience with Robi's digital infrastructure, the initiative aims to transform underserved communities and establish a benchmark for public-private collaboration in national development.
