January 12, 2026 00:00:00

Mobile brand HTC has returned to the Bangladeshi market, with its smartphones now manufactured locally. The comeback begins with the launch of the HTC Wildfire E7 Life, produced and marketed by Salextra Limited.
Once a global pioneer of touchscreen and Android smartphones, HTC's re-entry through Bangladesh highlights the country's growing strength in electronics manufacturing. Industry insiders say local production of an iconic global brand reinforces Bangladesh's capability to produce
world-class devices.
Priced at Tk 12,999, the Wildfire E7 Life targets the affordable segment, featuring a Unisoc octa-core chipset, a large HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery running Android 16.
