TikTok has released its list of the most searched words in Bangladesh in 2025, offering a snapshot of what captured public curiosity-from entertainment and sports to travel, culture and real-time news.
The list highlights TikTok's growing role as a discovery tool for everyday decisions. Searches linked to #LearnOnTikTok rose 66 per cent year-on-year, while #TravelTok grew 63 per cent, #BookTok 41 per cent and #FoodTok 40 per cent.
In showbiz, searches were led by Hania Amir, Tasnia Farin and Sabnam Faria. Sports fans looked up Lionel Messi and Mustafizur Rahman, while places such as Dubai and Jamuna Future Park topped travel searches.
TikTok said the trends reflect how Bangladeshis use search to connect culture, community and daily life.
