2nd edition of EBL bike tour launched

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has launched the second edition of its nationwide bike tour, titled "EBL Mission Bangladesh Returns", aimed at spreading important social messages while strengthening community engagement across the country.
The programme was officially inaugurated at EBL's corporate head office in Dhaka recently. Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director of EBL, formally handed over motorbike safety wearables to the riders, says a press release.
The biker team -- Sadman Mostafa, Rasel Hossain Patwary, Mizanur Rahman, and A. M. M. Afsarur Rahman Bhuiyan -- will travel across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, undertaking a range of socially responsible initiatives. These include planting 3,000 trees to promote climate resilience and environmental sustainability, collaborating with local biking communities to raise awareness on road safety, and encouraging sustainable tourism by showcasing Bangladesh's natural beauty and adventure travel potential, particularly in scenic and hilly regions.
Throughout the journey, the riders will also engage with local communities to highlight the importance of integrity, ethical conduct, and values-based practices, alongside promoting best practices in banking.
ACI Motors Limited has partnered with EBL as the official mobility partner for the initiative by sponsoring Yamaha FZ 25 motorbikes, ensuring the riders are well-equipped for their inspiring cross-country journey.
