BRAC Bank has distributed more than 62,000 pieces of winter clothes nationwide to support marginalised communities affected by extreme cold.

As part of the initiative, the bank provided 13,000 blankets through the Chief Advisor's Welfare Fund and the Chattogram City Corporation, ensuring timely support for vulnerable communities in urban and semi-urban areas.
In parallel, BRAC Bank leveraged its SME and distribution network to deliver 49,653 hoodies at the union level, reaching madrasas, orphanages, and communities with limited access to winter protection, particularly children and the elderly.
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said, "Standing beside the vulnerable is not an obligation, it is a responsibility. This winter assistance programme reflects our commitment to inclusion, dignity, and care, translated into action that delivers real impact."
