EBL inks MoU with MPA to enhance financial transaction efficiency at Mongla Port

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mongla Port Authority (MPA) to introduce advanced digital banking services at Mongla Port. The MoU was signed recently at Mongla by Md. Jabedul Alam, Head of Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking Division of EBL, and Dr. A. K. M. Anisur Rahman, Member (Engineering and Development) of MPA. Under this initiative, EBL and MPA will jointly develop a comprehensive digital ecosystem, enabling port users to carry out financial transactions effortlessly through EBL's cutting-edge digital banking platform. Captain Mohammad Shafiqul Islam (G), PSC, BN (Harbor Master) and Mohammad Arif Chowdhury, Head of Cash Management, Transaction Banking of EBL were present, among others.
